This is from Fine Cooking No.45 p.90 "For quick grilling, think kebabs". This is just using meat on the skewers, but vegetables such as cherry tomatoes, squares of bell pepper, squash, onion are also fine. Cook each type of vegetable on its own skewer or mix with other types. The meat cooks for longer then the vegetables like so mixing meat and vegetables on the same skewer may over cook the veggies. But do what seem right to you.

Cut the meat into about 1" to 1½" cubes/chunks. In a bowl large enough to hold the marinade and meat combine all the marinade ingredients. Add the meat and marinate for 30+ minutes.
